Bay View Breakfast

An important part of your stay at Bay View and something which we take very seriously. Our aim is to provide an exceptionally wide choice of interesting, high-quality breakfast options which are cooked fresh to order and served at your table by our friendly staff.

​The menu offers eleven main courses including the ever-popular "Full Monty" English Breakfast, healthy fresh fruit platters, indulgent waffles or our old favourite, "Summer Breakfast" featuring avocado and cherry tomatoes topped with poached eggs.  New additions for 2026 include "The Seaside" -simply smoked haddock and poached eggs and "Shakshuka Sunrise" - spiced tomato and bell pepper sauce with poached eggs, crumbled feta and toasted sourdough. If you catch some mackerel on a fishing trip we are happy cook them for your breakfast!  We welcome vegans, vegetarians and special diets... whatever your preference, you will be spoilt for choice.

Bay View Tea Rooms

Many of our guests find that breakfast lasts them all day, however, should you need a top-up, Bay View Tea Rooms has a wide-ranging menu specialising in local seafood, crab sandwiches and Devon Cream Teas.  Exciting news for 2026 is the arrival of our pizza oven...perfect to take away to the beach for your evening dinner!

The Salcombe Dairy Ice Cream Cart

When the sun is shining, our ice cream cart will be out on display offering Salcombe Dairy's award-winning ice cream. The Honeycomb is a must!

Restaurants

For a small village, Beer has excellent eating options including Italian, Fish & Chips and much more. There are also three pubs, all of which serve food, plus a very cosy wine bar. On the beach, there are three cafes.
