EXPLORE BEER

Beer is a perfect choice if you are looking for a Devon seaside holiday in an unspoilt location.  Once home to smugglers and the Queen's Lace Makers, it is now a traditional fishing village that is part of the World Heritage Site “Jurassic Coast” and East Devon's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The heart of the village is the beach, a natural sun trap protected by magnificent white chalk cliffs and home to a small fleet of fishing boats.

The village itself has a strong local community and visitors are made very welcome.  There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants (including a pub garden overlooking the sea) together with a deli, bakery, post office, gift shops and art galleries.  We have two great attractions in the village; Beer Quarry Caves and Pecorama.
